The Grand Hotel Wien is located right in the heart of the city only a stroll away from all major sights including the opera house, St. Stephan's Cathedral, the pedestrian zone and main shopping area. Originally built in 1870 offers the hotel Viennese flair combined with the latest state-of-the-art technology. Our 205 rooms and suites are decorated in very traditional style, and offer all the comforts a guest can expect from a 5-star luxury hotel.

With four restaurants and two bars the Grand Hotel Wien can meet nearly everyone's tastes. Le Ciel, an elegant gourmet restaurant located on the 7th floor, for international and French cuisine. Open for lunch and dinner, it has been awarded with three toques by Gault Millau. The location on the 7th floor offers a marvelous view over the city and live piano music in the evening. Unkai, a Japanese restaurant also located on the 7th floor, with two teppanyaki tables, two private rooms, two tatami rooms and a typically designed á la carte restaurant. With its Japanese kitchen and staff, this restaurant can provide the finest in authentic cuisine and service. One of the best restaurants in town, it has been awarded with one toque by Gault Millau. In the Grand Café, we serve an extended buffet breakfast with local champagne, and Japanese-style breakfast. as well as lunch and dinner. Open all day, it is located on the Bel Etage. Kavalierbar is a traditional cocktail bar overlooking the main boulevard, serving 35 different brands of port. Rosengarten, in the lobby, for drinks, coffee, snacks and pastry all day. Open from 9 a.m. till midnight, the Rosengarten has also become a meeting place for local business people.
At the "Unkai Sushi", a traditional japanese Sushi-Bar, sophisticated friends of Japanese specialities will find the most exclusive Sushi in town, as well as finest Sashimi and our famous Bento-Boxes – also for take-away.
